Software that runs the business, not just the website

We support the acceleration of our clients’ businesses with the web apps, mobile apps and back-office systems that get a company off the ground and keep it climbing. Our own products run on the same stack, so nothing we propose is untested.

Our work

Work that is live today

Two products we built and run ourselves, across web, iOS and Android.

  • Mobile apps
  • iOS
  • Android

Cleaning marketplace, client and cleaner apps

A two-sided marketplace for home and short-stay rental cleaning. Clients post a job and compare offers; cleaners bid, chat, navigate to the door with native turn-by-turn directions and are paid the same day through Stripe Connect. One React Native codebase, two roles, live GPS tracking on a Mapbox map.

Marketplace website and operations dashboard

The booking website, the SEO landing pages and the back office behind the apps: jobs, roles, payouts, tax forms, support tickets and push campaigns. An Angular front end with server-side rendering over a Node and MongoDB API, deployed to staging and production on Railway.

Support agent app

Support agent app

A separate Android app for the support team: live chat with customers and a queue of support queries. Pushes arrive as data and the app draws them itself, so an agent is woken even when it is in the background.

Oncemaid website and live chat

A marketing site for an Orange County cleaning company with a scripted chat agent that quotes from a rate card, a journal, city pages, promotions, client reviews, Stripe payments and a dashboard that edits all of it. Zero npm dependencies, running on Fly.io.

Oncemaid console

The owner's phone app: the chat inbox and applicants in a native shell, with Firebase push that lands as a heads-up and a sound even while the phone is asleep. Its screens are served by the website, so a change ships with a deploy and never needs a new APK.

Our services

From strategy to software, built to perform

Web design and development.

Marketing sites and web apps that load fast, rank, read well to AI assistants and turn a visit into an enquiry. Server-rendered where it matters, with structured data and a dashboard your own team edits without calling us.

Custom software and platforms.

Back-office systems, dashboards and two-sided marketplaces: the parts of a business that off-the-shelf tools stop fitting. Roles, approvals, scheduling, payouts, reporting and audit trails, built around how you actually work.

Mobile apps.

One React Native codebase for both stores, including the parts that usually go wrong: push notifications, background location, native turn-by-turn navigation, in-app payments, and the release process itself.

Integrations and APIs.

Payments, messaging, identity and maps connected to the systems you already run. Stripe and Stripe Connect payouts, Twilio SMS, Firebase auth and realtime data, Mapbox, accounting and CRM tools, with the edge cases handled rather than discovered.

AI assistants and automation.

Chat agents that answer from your own data, intake flows that qualify a lead before a person picks it up, internal copilots for the repetitive work, and content written so AI search can find and quote it.

Hosting, support and maintenance.

We keep what we build running: deployments, monitoring, backups, dependency and OS updates, and a named person to call when something breaks. A fixed monthly fee, no surprise invoices.

About

A small team that ships its own products, and yours.

Bluerendr is run from Huntington Beach, California by the people who built Oncemaid and a two-sided cleaning marketplace. We take on a few client projects at a time and treat each one the way we treat our own.

01

A small senior team

The people on the call are the people writing the code. No account layer, and no handoff to a bench you never meet.

02

We run what we build

Our own products take bookings, move money and track drivers every day. The patterns we propose are the ones we rely on ourselves.

03

Fixed prices, written down

Every project ships with a scope and a price agreed before work starts. Changes are priced as changes, not discovered on an invoice.

04

You own all of it

The code, the accounts, the domains and the keys are yours from day one. Leaving us should take an afternoon.

Process

How a project starts

Four steps from a first message to a fixed quote. Most web app projects take under two weeks.

01

Discovery call

Thirty minutes on what the business needs and what is already in place. No pitch deck, no sales team.

02

Technical review

We read the existing code, data and integrations and ask the awkward questions before they cost anything.

03

Scope and fixed quote

A written scope with a fixed price and a delivery date. What is in, what is out, and what we assumed.

04

Build in weekly releases

Something working on a staging site every week, so the plan can change while changing is still cheap.

How we work

01 Plain language

Proposals, estimates and status updates are written for the owner of the business, not for another engineer.

02 Boring where it counts

Proven stacks, long-term-support versions and hosting with a bill you can read. Novelty goes in the experiments, not in production.

03 Measured, then changed

Speed, search, conversion and errors are tracked before and after every release, so we know a change worked rather than hoping it did.

Tell us what you are running, and what is getting in the way.

A short chat is enough to say whether we can help and roughly what it would cost.
